Personalisation is about building flexible, scalable systems that enable experimentation and inclusivity.

The future of AI won’t be defined by speed alone, but by who shapes it, how intentionally we build it, and the real-world impact it creates.

Belonging is the foundation for bold ideas, stronger teams, and real innovation. Discover why inclusion, curiosity, and a little fun can make all the difference in building tech that truly matters.

Behind every seamless payment is a team making sure trust, reliability, and real people are at the centre of the technology. Step into the world of building payments across the Nordics and shaping a more inclusive future in tech along the way.

Complex challenges rarely look complex at first glance. What appears to be a pricing adjustment can, in reality, be a transformation of how value is created across markets. As Senior Business Initiatives Manager at Vend, Marianne Lindsten thrives where structure meets uncertainty. From leading cross-Nordic transformations to aligning teams across commercial, technical, and regulatory landscapes, her work sits at the intersection of strategy, systems thinking, and human collaboration. In our Women Who Build What’s Next series, Marianne shares what it really takes to tackle complexity — and why sustainable growth begins with clarity, courage, and a relentless focus on customer value.

Careers in tech don’t always begin with a plan. Sometimes they begin with curiosity, closed doors, and the courage to take a different path. As Chief Product Officer at Vend, Francesca Cortesi’s journey has been anything but linear. From fashion in Milan to helping scale some of Europe’s fastest-growing technology companies. Her story is one of bold pivots, continuous learning, and trusting the pattern that every setback can lead to something greater. This International Women’s Day, we begin our Women Who Build What’s Next series with a pathbreaker who proves that the future isn’t built by following a straight line; it’s built by daring to create your own.
Vilde Opsal, Director of AI Engineering and Data Science at Vend, has been named one of Norway’s 50 leading women in tech for 2026. The annual recognition is awarded by Abelia and the ODA Network, highlighting role models who strengthen diversity and technological expertise across Norway.

In the spring of 2025, all the UX directors at Vend took a step back to look at where we are as a design organisation and where we want to grow. We ran a UX maturity assessment across our different areas, and from that, started to see the bigger picture of what would really lift both our craft and the company. At the same time, we looked at the development goals from every designer across Vend. It turned out that many of us wanted to learn the same kinds of things. So instead of everyone learning alone, we thought, what if we do this together?

We sat down with Cansu Kilit, Senior Product Enablement Manager, to talk about the Product Development Playbook: seven guiding principles shaped by 40+ conversations across teams. From “Think big, start real” to “Create value together,” it’s designed to help us focus on what matters most.
