Mats Vangbo appointed CEO of Nettbil
Nettbil today announced the appointment of Mats Vangbo as Chief Executive Officer of the company. Having served as Interim CEO since April this year, Vangbo has further strengthened the company’s momentum, earning the confidence of the board, partners, and Nettbil team.
Over the past years, Nettbil has grown into a leading digital platform for car auctions in Norway, making it easy and convenient for consumers to sell their cars at auction.

A proven leader
Vangbo joined Nettbil as COO in 2022 and took over as interim CEO following the departure of previous CEO Sara Andrén-Johansen. Prior to joining Nettbil, Mats was COO of First Mover Group and Relokator and has extensive experience in scaling businesses. Following a comprehensive recruitment process led by Korn Ferry, Mats was confirmed as the permanent CEO. Both the Nettbil board and Vend Mobility leadership agreed that his combination of experience, leadership style, and interim performance made him the clear choice.
