Almost there: 90 Vendies wrapping up the next Builder program cohort
Just a few months after launching the Builder program, we are nearing another milestone. Our latest cohort — close to 90 Vendies from across the organisation — is now in the final stretch, putting the finishing touches on AI-powered solutions designed to solve real, everyday challenges at Vend.

Over the tertial, this group has spent 20% of their time learning how to work hands-on with AI, automation and low-code tools, while applying those skills directly to problems in their own teams. The result is a growing portfolio of practical prototypes focused on saving time, improving quality, and simplifying work.
What stands out isn’t just the number of participants, but the diversity of perspectives. Builders come from across functions, roles and experience levels, reinforcing the idea that meaningful innovation doesn’t require a technical background — just curiosity, ownership and a clear understanding of the problem at hand.
As the cohort prepares for demos and wrap-up, the focus is shifting from learning to impact: refining solutions, testing them in real workflows and identifying where they can scale across the company. Many builders are already continuing to iterate on their projects beyond the program.
The Builder program was created to unlock this kind of momentum — enabling employees to move from ideas to action, and to keep building long after the program ends. With nearly 90 new builders about to cross the finish line, it’s clear the model is working.
More demos, more learnings and more builders to come.
